CBC on tour - Andrew Gudgeon completed this sportive in the French Alps. A brutal ride in the heat of summer - Chapeau Andrew!

Coniston camping weekend


3 set off from home by car while 2 rode to the campsite at Coniston for a great weekend of riding (taking in the Wrynose pass) and socialising.
68 miles, 6 bacon butties, 10 evening meals, 17 pints and 5 bottles of red!

Blackpool photoshoot

Five groups of CBC riders rode to Blackpool on a beautiful summer's day. They met up at Cafe Number Five for lunch before convening for the annual photoshoot on the pier.

CBC members took part in the Edisford 10mile time trial on a windy drizzly evening - well done all.

Weekend trip to Kettlewell

CBC members loaded their bags onto their bikes and cycled to Kettlewell for a change of scene and two nights under canvas before returning via a different route

Riders enjoyed a ride in different territory by slipping over the border into Yorkshire

Santa Ride

CBC Members enjoyed a festive meal at Grindleton Pavilion after spreading some Christmas cheer by taking part in the annual Santa Ride around the villages.

Annual Christmas Quiz

This year, Covid restrictions led the club to waive their membership fees for current members. Despite this, members opted to pay their fees so they could be donated to North West Air Ambulance. A cheque for £2180 was presented to NWAA at the Bike Club’s annual quiz night which was held at Clitheroe Rugby Club on the 1st December and an additional £100 raised on the night by a raffle organised by Club Chairman, Trevor Lingard.

Bunker Ride

Michael Prescott led a ride to the Brindle Royal Observer Corps Bunker following the Lancashire Cycleway. Riders had fun exploring the historic site and were treated to a picnic lunch before riding back to Clitheroe. A great time was had by all.
