Park & Ride, Settle to Carlisle A park & ride with a difference - CBC members met at Settle and took the train to Carlisle before cycling back to Settle. Not for the faint-hearted, this ride of 85 miles with 6000ft of climb was punctuated by lunch at the Black Bull at Sedbergh and a little sightseeing on the way. A welcome tail wind brought them safely home. |

June 2023
Park & Ride Buttertubs Pass Paul & Bernadette organised a park & ride which incorporated the iconic Buttertubs Pass. At 40 miles with 4000ft of climb, some riders who went along had to raise their game, but with encouragement from the stronger riders, everyone made it and a great day was had by all. |
